ALL – How does moisture get into the home?

Moisture is present in every home. Every day, litres of water are produced by the house’s residents (people and pets) through perspiration and exhalation. Activities such as cooking, washing, showering and bathing also create moisture through evaporation. The average household produces about 10 to 15 litres of water per day. Moreover, rising ground water can also form a significant source of moisture problems in your environment. So long as there is sufficient ventilation, moisture does not cause any problems; but it is those small, poorly ventilated spaces where problems arise. This is where Pingi really feels at home!
