BASIC – Can I clean PINGI in my washing machine when it has become dirty?

No, we strongly advise against this. PINGI would not function afterwards.

BASIC – Can I use PINGI in my deepfreeze to prevent frosting?

You can try, but we have not tested or designed PINGI for this purpose. We do not advise you to acquire PINGI with this specific purpose in mind.

BASIC – Do I have to empty PINGI between uses?

No, please regularly check the indicator. When it has turned fully pink you can regenerate PINGI. We advise not to recharge Pingi when the indicator is still blue.

BASIC – Do I need to re-fill my PINGI sachet?

No, absolutely not.  With normal use, a PINGI Basic product will lasts many cycles and can be regenerated many times!

ALL – How many Pingi’s do I need in a space?

On the individual product pages you will find for how many cubic meters each product is advised. Every space is of course unique, so results may vary.

BASIC – Where can I use PINGI?

Use your PINGI Basic product in (small) enclosed space that are affected by humidity problems due to low ventilation:
Boat / Auto / Caravan / Cellar Cupboard / Kitchen / Clothing Cupboard / Shoe Closet / Garage / Garden House / Attic / Store Cupboard / Kitchen Cupboard / Broom Closet / Etc. etc.

BASIC – Do I need to remove the granules from the bag?

No, it is not necessary. Never cut the bag open. The bag allows moisture to pass through it. Do remove the box and other packaging materials before using PINGI.

BASIC – How do I place PINGI?

As PINGI Basic does not leak it can be placed anywhere indoors. However, the product should be kept away from grease, oil and water (liquid form). You can use the attached string to hang PINGI between your clothing.
